How to Use
1. Preparation & Hygiene
-
Sanitize: Before first use and after every session, wash all components in warm, soapy water and sterilize them (via boiling water for 5 minutes or a steam sterilizer).
-
Wash Hands: Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water before handling cleaned pump parts.
-
Assemble:
-
Push the silicone valve into the bottom of the pump body.
-
Attach the upper silicone diaphragm and secure the top lock/cap onto the body.
-
Fit the handle into its hinge/pivot slot.
-
Push the silicone cushion firmly into the funnel/breast shield.
-
Screw the wide-neck bottle onto the base of the pump body.
-
2. Pumping Process
-
Positioning: Sit in a comfortable, relaxed position. Center the breast shield over your nipple so it creates an airtight seal against your skin.
-
Stimulation Phase (Let-Down): Begin squeezing the handle using short, rapid strokes. This mimics a baby's quick sucking pattern to trigger milk flow.
-
Expression Phase: Once milk starts flowing, switch to longer, slower squeezes. Hold the handle down for 1–2 seconds before releasing to maximize output comfortably.
-
Finish: Express for about 10–15 minutes per breast (or until flow stops).
3. Storage & Feeding
-
Unscrew the pump body from the bottle.
-
Attach the included teat collar and cap to feed immediately, or seal with a lid to store the milk safely in the refrigerator or freezer.
